Deposits of Physical Stock Certificates
Sloan Securities Corp. may, after comprehensive due diligence, accept physical stock certificates for deposit into client accounts. In order to deposit a physical certificate into your account please fax a copy of both the front and back of the certificate to your representative along with the following additional documentation;
- A written statement signed by the beneficial owner (or authorized officer for entity accounts) explaining how the stock was obtained
- Copies of all documents which support the statement above, including, but not limited to, securities purchase agreements, private offering documents, etc
Please note that Sloan Securities Corp. reserves the right to request additional information or documentation at our sole discretion.
Once we have reviewed all of the documentation provided and it is determined that the security is eligible for deposit at Sloan Securities Corp. you will mail the original certificate along with a signed stock power form to your branch office. Under no circumstances, will Sloan Securities Corp. accept physical certificates for securities with a value of less than $0.01 per share.
Securities being delivered in physical form MAY NOT BE SOLD UNTIL AN AFFIRMATIVE RESPONSE HAS BEEN GIVEN that our due diligence process has been completed and the security has been received and deposited to your account.
